Does anyone of you know how to tell the computer that a cell in text mode is not 8x8 pixels but 1x1 pixels large? No, I'm not crazy, I just want to use the interrupt 33h mouse procedures in VESA modes and there the mouse is still in 80*25 or 80*50 text mode and always increments by 8x8 pixel cells. Of course I could just tell the mouse to have an 8-fold high and wide area and then just divide the coordinates by 8 but the mouse gets very slow (8 times slower) then and you can't push down the mickey/pixel rate so far that the speed is back to normal again.
