I have been on this mailing list for quite some time now, but have never posted. I have recently installed RedHat Linux 4.2(I will get 5.2 in a few weeks), and am having trouble with my re-compiled kernel. I recompiled the kernel (version 2.0.18), following instructions I found in a book and on the net, and it compiled ok (as in, no error messages), but when I try and loadlin it, it halts my system, saying that I have less than 4 megs of ram. I have 32 megs. If anyone could help me solve this problem, I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you in advance. Nick Fotopoulos
