I know that I spent about half a day attempting to do it. It is pretty clear that the DOS version of fdisk is pretty much specialized to handling DOS/win9x partitions and chokes on anything else. What I ended up doing was to act like I was going to install RH Linux, since I could get Disk Druid loaded then, use Disk Druid to mess with my partitions and then abort the installation.
