PixelGrabber

I need to use the Pixel Grabber on a GIF or JPEG image.  What (besides create 
an instance of the class) does one have to do to prepare the Pixel Grabber to 
grab the pixels.  If that was not clear this might be better:  What "set" 
functions must you call on the grabber before calling the actual "grabpixels" 
function.
