hi. this is probably gonna end up being really complicated, but ill try and make it as simple as i can. i want to code an avi viewer in djgpp/asm. i know i could just take the easy way out and get a library, but i figure the best way to learn about stuff is to code it yourself. i know there are a multitude of codecs (indeo springs to mind), but which codec is a) easiest to decompress? b) fastest to decompress? any information would be much appreciated. cheers, woofcow woofcow@xxxxxxxxx.xxx (check out www.sonicflood.com - they are the most incredible band) Sponsored by Wrox Press - www.wrox.com.
