Wow, I did not know this. Perhaps I am missing out on something as I
have never gotten said pleasure out of talking about computer
programming languages.

I am lost here as well. When I signed up to the mailing list I did not
sign up with the hopes of becoming a "badass". I signed up with the
hopes of learning something and perhaps imparting a small part of my
knowledge that I have gained on to somebody else.

This is in fact what I was attempting to do (and I am sure that most
other people were as well) by taking part in the discussion about
languages. I in no way was attempting to impress other people or make
people think that I am a "badass". The free flow of information (hehe,
we have all heard this before) really is what this mailing list is
about. I, with my views and limited knowledge was just attempting to
give as much as receive by continuing the discussion.

I am not sure exactly what you are attempting to get at here. Nothing
anybody said was even close to "I know assembly language I am cooler
than you are!" In fact, let me be honest. While I know the concept and
could point assembly language out to you, at this time I couldn't even
write a "Hello World" program in assembly. So too bad your above comment
doesn't hold true.
