Alrites, I have a problem with my keyboard handler and the sound card under DOS. Everything works fine if I just install a keyboard handler and then remove it. The problem arises when I press a KEY after installing the keyborad handler (BTW, I'm using DJGPP 2). If I press a key and then exit the program, the speaker beeps at me for some reason. Then, if I'm back in RHIDE and I drop to DOS, it beeps at me again. Or if I ALT+TAB / ALT+SPACE / etc. back into Windows. It also happens if I start another DOS session. I don't have a timer installed, nor do I have any music in my programs. This effect lasts until I restart my computer (laptop, in case that may be the reason?). All I have to do is run my program once and press a key after installing the handler. I make sure to remove it too, so that's probably not the problem. The same program works on other computers without a problem. Also, if I run another program compiled with DJGPP that uses it's own keyboard routines, it works perfectly. This is really starting to annoy me! If anyone needs the code, please email me asking for it. I don't want to make this message longer than it already is. Thanx! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Bid and sell for free at http://auctions.yahoo.com
