I know this is a little off topic but.... I'm taking a class in cs called Computer Organization and Architecture (cs440) and the book they sold is crap and the teacher is a horrible. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any good books/internet sites that explains some of this stuff a little better. It needs to be a fairly in depth look at the underlying hardware (ie gates, decoders, multiplexers...) and the various functional units. I'd appreciate any suggestions (and the rest of the class) on reading material later Sponsored by Wrox Press - www.wrox.com. Programmer to Programmer (TM)
