I am afriad you are wrong =)

DJGPP is a FREE 32BIT Compiler which you can do inline nasm and cool
graphics. Borland C++ is ok but if you use that sucky graphics.h, things are
pretty slow. I code it myself.

Denthor's VGA Programming Tutorials are COOL but they are in Pascal. =(
I don't do pascal.
