Question on DMA use.

Hi.

I have tried to use DMA in my program for memory-to-memory transfer and
have faced some questions:
1. Memory-to-memory transfer involves channels 0 and 1 of DMA so to
start
transfer I have to send request on transfer(DREQ) for channel 0 or 1 or
both(none of the variants started transfer).
2. If any one know where I can read as detailed as possible information
on DMA, DMA ports(and also all I/O ports) please point on.
