Jefferson Associates is trying to fill the following open programming
position in San Antonio:

PeopleSoft Programmer

Summary / Responsibilities of this position:

·This job is being posted as a Programmer Analyst,
Senior Programmer Analyst, or Lead Programmer Analyst.
 The actual job grade will be determined by the
successful candidate's match to the qualifications and
experience.

Job Responsibilities:
·Maintain delivered and custom software components to
support the PeopleSoft HRMS environment.
·Create system documentation detailing changes or
modifications made to delivered PeopleSoft
application.
·Work with business partners to design, test and
implement deliverables to meet business requirements.
·Build and maintain interfaces to other  applications
or outside vendors to support business requirements.
·Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge Requirements:
·Experience with software development life cycle
required
·Experience with Unix and creation of Unix  shell
scripts in a professional programming environment
required (2 years minimum)
·Experience programming with RDBMS / SQL in a
professional programming environment required (2 years
minimum)
·PeopleSoft PeopleCode and SQR knowledge preferred
·Cross-platform application integration experience,
including web and browser-based technologies preferred
·Data modeling experience preferred
·COBOL professional programming experience preferred
·Knowledge of  MVS preferred
·Project management experience preferred
·Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or
equivalent experience
