I agree with the previous comment that NT4 Server only differs in its networking and applications bundle but is basicly the same as Workstation. I do ALL my Java dev on NT4 (IIS4/SP6.1) and have never had any problems with Suns JDK 1.2.2 - In fact i would say that compile speeds are far superior to other windows platforms (but i wont comment on win2000 as i wont let this near our server - its a DOWNGRADE!!!)
