Actually, I do know German, but my vast knowledge consists of merely high
shool classes and a VERY limited vocabulary! But I don't know enough to use a
German-based product, only just enough to sometimes get jist of what someone's
saying ;-). Although I'll definately follow some of those sites for hosting.
When I say "I'm a total newbie," I mean that in every possible way! I don't
know how anything will work! I don't know the process for doing anything! I don't
know what all these acronyms mean (CGI, SSI, etc). I have a book on HTML, but
I just started it so I don't know what all these things mean yet!
The links I'm confused on because I'll be making the pages on my local
computer, and I'll link them together there. So when I upload them to the server
how are the web addresses determined?? I have all my pages linked together on
the harddrive, how are those links preserved on the web when I upload it???
Thanks for everyone's help. It's nice to have a place where I can ask questions
like this and not be made fun of ;-)).
