Hi, looking to write a mail security program, but need help with many items (OK, most of the things I want to do). Doubt anyone here has the skills I want, cos most of us seem to be at a similar level of beginner to intermediate programmer, but hey, what can I lose by asking? Using Delphi (5), how do you: Write an add-in for MSOutlook 98, that will scan incomming mails for attachments? Write a program that sits in the background and monitors windows messages sent to other programs? Shut down an application that is currently running? Delete files that are in use (probably make them not in use first, how?)? Change registry items under NT while program is using them? I want to write for NT and 95, 98 etc. Win 2000 not neccesary yet. Outlook 98 is the only version I currently have available, so answer for that version pls. Thanks guys Ric
