Do you really think asking everybody is a solution? I mean, first there are 400 people to be e-mailed, then there are certainly some who are in holidays or can't access their mail at the moment or just delete the mail in one of his spam-killing sessions. In addition, this would be only a short-time solution because in a few months we had the same problem again. Telling the mailing list server to delete subscribers that don't exist anymore is also not a very good solution I think, because, even if there are ways to configure the server like this, it wouldn't work. Why? Well, most of the "blind" members have changed their e-mail address or stopped internetting but still have their old, forgotten e-mail account running.
