Many of the competitions I took part in ended on March 1st, so I guess the winners will be drawn on the first business day after that, which is tomorrow, Monday.
After all the hours I spent filling out forms I better had to win something. Even if it's just a lollypop, I don't care.
Maybe you read about me having discovered an old archive of texts I wrote back when I was 16.
Now, if I understood this correctly, Jeanette, MelMel, lemoneyes seem to be friends at school (?) and MelMel once said she was 15, so I suppose them all to be about that age.
What bugs me is that their style of writing is so different from mine 5 or 6 years ago. Foolishly basing my perception of the world on my own experiences, I wouldn't have guessed them to be that young. I mean, they actually use grammar and write intelligent things :) Compare this to me who actually used EliTe cApZ because I thought it would make me cool.
Admittedly I am not a native speaker of the English tongue as they are (?), but anyway: I hope the Internet has long since forgotten about the things I published back then, or if it hasn't I pray it is burried so deeply that Google won't be able to find it :D
I wonder if I should take a train to the city and pick up the Gangs of New York soundtrack. I've been listening to samples from the CD all day long. It has beautiful folk songs and a couple of hits from big numbers like Peter Gabriel and U2.
However, there are "only" 18 tracks on the disc, but 86 songs were used in the movie. I'm missing some great pieces like Remember you still by Lorenna McKennit.

I'm continuing my mission for free stuff. I haven't won anything yet, but only a handful of competetitions have ended already. This is nagging on my patience. Why would you do a competition now and then have it end in August?
Yesterday I've ran the numbers to estimate my chances. Assumed I'm taking place in 100 competitions with an average of 5 prices I want to win, and 500 other people taking place each, my chance to win something is about 62%. If I can get Ettena to take part in everything I do, the numbers grow to over 85%! Doubling the number of competing players would take away about 20% probability.
I'm going to continue to fill out forms until I have my notebook or some sort of journey to the seaside with Ettena. Quantity is king!
