Today I've been to the season's opening of our local swimming center for work. 11 am, blue sky, wonderful. Anything that was missing were short trousers and a t-shirt (sweat, sweat). Well, now that I've got nothing better to do I decided to write some kind of "ambience picture".
Anyway, it was great to be on the site while almost nobody else there. Last year I've been there and it was totally overcrowded. No place to swim or to lay in the shadows of the trees. Air was about 20 degrees, water 18 and 23. Just holding my hand in there felt very gentle and I really wanted to jump in but uh, it'd sure have been too cold for me :)
Null, how about once going there during the lunchbreak. have a picnic and holding our bare feet into the water. Wouldn't that be nice? Do you have time for it?
I'm just lucky it's that great weather and hope it stays though weatherforecast tells different.
Don't read that post if you're not interested in boring drivel ;)
Usually I don't like the winter too much because of it's freezing cold. I can't stand that. But nature gives me so much that I really adore it, sometimes.
Why: Whenever I am driving home from Zurich to Liechtenstein by train it's this wonderful atmosphere out there. When the coach is swaying quietly through the darkening sky, passing the lakeshore for kilometres. Nature has never been so peaceful unless in the mountains when it's covered in deep, white snow.
I can see the water waving slowly and the last grasses seesawing in the wind. Now and there I can see some ducks, trying not to move to fast. It's cold but in here it's warm.
And there's the swimmingpool, now empty, the trees not shading anymore because they lost all their leaves. It's so quiet. Driving by in summer is just the opposite: It's loud, colourful and there are lots of people. Now the benches are empty. Nobody is watching the sun vanishing in the misty darkness. Just me in my daydreams, slendering along with my dog and wrapped up in coat and cap.
The train goes on and passes by some houses, some of them are very welcoming. These are the beautiful countryhouses of the Zurichsee, where the lucky people live who can afford it to build their home just in front of the lake.
But wherever you look, there are often bright lights: stars, trees, bushes. It's such a wonderful picture :)
Merry Christmas! :)
Huh, there's only one day left!
For those who don't know, yet: I'll be away for two weeks and am really nervous!
Well, there's no more things to say except that null made me a nice online diary where I'll maybe post some news from overseas :) At least I hope I'll be able to find a decent and not too expensive Internet Café!
Have a good time!
I will miss NAO :)

My last a little bit bigger post is dated back to August. It's just a month away but I feel if I hadn't posted anything interesting, big and intelligent for years. I just didn't have the time to since I'm back to Liechtenstein. Well, in october when I'm moving to Zürich again, the situation may change. I won't have too many lectures and my flat mates will probably spend a bigger part on learning (there both studying law), so I suppose I'll have more time then. Although... I'm also having to exams which will reduce my free time.
null and I are attending a CAE course till november and december will be the first opportunity to do the exam. I'm not sure yet if I'll participate... But null will definitely make it. I've got to practice more by writing long posts with a broad range of exotic vocabulary :)
Till then I'll be finished with my summer job, who got really heavy-going in the last time. In addition, I extended that work by two weeks.
Well, that's pretty much what's been happening in my life in the last time. Not really exiting. Okay, null is back, I gotta take care of him. Bye, bye! :)
I'm working as a trainee for about seven days now and it's just great! It's so much variety and new things to learn. I am totally enthusiastic about it! :)
(For those who don't know yet, I am working here). :) Well people may think I write about a lot of nonsense ;)
For the geeks: I am working on a Mac ;) I almost got used to its different options. We also got two really easy and cool programs to work with.
I already told to null: "If they were offering a job to me, I'd drop out of university immediately." But I won't be offered a job so far. Besides I won't risk getting lynched by my parents :P
I shouldn't be so positive about it, yet. Maybe things are different after the two months I'll be working there. I do not know weekly routine nor working under pressure yet. So...
But until now I really love it :)
Everything seems perfect :)
So today was my first day in a real editorial office (well maybe not so convincing because it's just the Liechtensteiner Volksblatt but anyway it was worth the experience. And if all goes well, you'll be able to read many articles in the following two months. Today they throw a pile of work on me. I already wrote a report about the controversial glowing crosses you can see almost everywhere, tomorrow I'll finish an info about some local roadworks and for saturday I'll have to prepare the "Kopf der Woche (Head of the week)". Uh!
Hope I'll make it all. I had to do many phonecalls and remarked that I can make it. (I've got xenophonophobia :D if this exists. Meaning that I'm scared of phoning people I don't know).
Anyway: Wish me luck and check the homepage, maybe you'll read something from me wednesday ;)
