My good friends Travis and Travis have opened up their own ISP, and nobody likes their current site, including them. Last Thursday they heard me discussing web design with another friend of mine, and asked me if I'd build a brand spankin' new site for them. I of course hopped onto the opportunity, even before they gave me a free year of service for building it for them.

My current page is a bit of an embarrassement when it comes to being a testamony to my abilities of building a good website, however, that was done just because I was bored and wanted to muck around with something.

For anyone interested this is their current site. Please tell me if there are any specific features you think I should keep.

Well, the house is here, and has been since last Tuesday, which is fine aside from a few things wrong such as the front and back door not shutting right, they didn't send the washer and dryer with it and the inconvieniance of not having all my stuff in it. I've spen the whole of my weekend helping my dad move heavy furniture and boxes, as well as attempt to get my room in some sort of order. My only complaints aside from being hellaciously sore and tired is that I can't find my PS memory cards, my phone line is currently strung through the window, and I don't have a connection to the antenna yet.

Enough ranting for now, I'll have pictures as soon as I can find the camera, get it working, and the house is in decent enough order to show to people.

The Bright Side of Life

Life hasn't exactly been great the past three years. My dad got injured quite seriously at work, and after a drawn out legal process they decided to retire him (he's 53) at seven hundred dollars a month, which was about four hundred dollars less than he should have gotten. But there wasn't anything we could do about it. Luckly he was also getting work mans compinsation from the govt. It ran out a few months after he started getting his retirement. Things were kind of stressfull because he started drinking more (he was already an alchoholic), and he and mom faught more and more. He and I almost wen't to blows over some arguements. Well, last January my mother got fired over false aligations from he boss, and was denied unemployment. Things got worse financially which ment tension rose between the parental units, I got a job hoping to help make things better however they refused to let me help with the bills and it embarrassed them that they weren't providing for their family. Well, mom decided to go back to college and finnish her teaching degree, that boosted moral quite abit because she qualified for complete financial aid from FAFSA. And my dad finally qualified for social security, and the back pay check came in Friday. Another problem we'd had was that our manufactured home (a 1984 shoe box model) is litterally falling down around us, and that problem is being solved by our getting enough back pay to get a decent used manufactured home to replace it with, and about two months ago we sold the back seven acres of our land and pay off the rest and our current 'home'. Today we are going to go shopping some more for a new house, and both parents are getting along well. Last night we went to dinner as a family for the first time in months. It was nice.

Relaxing

I think this is the first time in many months that I've had a relaxing evening. Since school started it seems all I've done is school work and help to prepare things for class meetings and things like that. Or I've been off running errands. Tonight has been different though, I've been kicked back reading and listening to Frank Sinatra and day dreaming about silly romantic things that I'd normally not allow. Tomorrow should be grand too. My mother and I are going to go out to the city and visit a few museums, something we haven't gotten to do in a long time, also one of my favorite past times.
I'm going to have to start making time for nights like this, maybe I'll start sleeping better.

Goodbye Party

I've had a very intestesting evening. Tonight was my best friends goodbye party (she's moving to Israel) and it started with us all kicked back and playin' around on the Game Cube. Well eventually a friend of mine D, found something to shock himself with and he decided it'd be a real good idea to shock one of his nipples, he discovered that it hurt about the time he fell to the ground whimpering. He stood up and got the other nipple, only going to his knees that time. After that the guys started shocking eachother over and over and over...It was pretty amusing. Later on we all herded into the kitchen and dug through the food, by the time we were done we were down several 12 packs of soda, one giant bottle of green chocolate syrup, a couple of bags of Doritos, and a bag of mints (well we had a tray left but I'll get to their fate in a minute). After the sugar/caffiene high we all recieved we went back to the living room toting the mints and what little was left of the chocolate supply, and flopped down. Some of us started in on the games while myself and D (male), J (female), S (female), L (female), and D (female) decided to stick the mints together using our saliva so that they'd have a mint 'orgy' going on. After a bit of laughing about it (and munching of some of the mints, D (male-the one that zapped his nipples) sat the thing down on his lap while we were picking at 'em and claimed we were eating his balls, immature I know but we were still consuming caffiene and it was funny at the time. After about ten minutes everyone got bored again, loaded up on more caffiene and went outside to mess around a with bebe gun. J (male) started shooting at whasps and we started laughing cause well..it was funny when they came after his ass. Well I'm not sure how we got on the conversation but we started discussing the grabability of L (f) and D's (m) asses. Of course we had to test this and J (f) decided then would be a good time to inform us of her having a cock, to that D (m) turned around and bent over. Everyone cracked up (even the folks with the bebe gun). D (m) then turned to me, still bent and said, "Spank me." They got a picture of me spanking him then of me petting his freakishly soft belly. All in all it was an amusing evening. And it managed to end without my best friend crying cause she's gonna miss us. Granted it was all immature but sometimes ya just gotta be a kid.

Bloodscape

Okay, I know I should technically post this in the dreams forum, but I'd rather put it here.

I keep having dreams involving blood. The most common one being a view of a wrist belonging to a very feminine hand, the wrist is just being held out and blood is being poored down over it and drips down off of the arm. There isn't any context surrounding it, it just pops up in the middle of whatever other dream I may have.

The second most common one is a pool of it, like a watering tank for animals in a pasture, and I'm standing in it looking down at my reflection, jut like I might do water, however the reflection is clearer somehow. Again it's never connected with whatever dream I was having before hand, nor do I get a feeling of prior knowledge to it.

It's sort of bugging me that I don't know why I have these dreams, but the dreams themselves aren't that disturbing to me. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be quite appreciative of them.
