Some men are born to good luck: all they do or try to do comes right— all that falls to them is so much gain—all their geese are swans—all their cards are trumps—toss them which way you will, they will always, like poor puss, alight upon their legs, and only move on so much the faster -- Grimm Fairy Tales
Wish i could be one of these ^^ lucky men; at least for a bit. Would be a nice change to see things fall in place on their own.
But i don't know where good luck comes from, where it disappears after a while. Is it all about working hard/smart?
There are always times when you fall into a situation where you have to work with people that are too smart for you , everything they say goes right over your head and things you're made to do aren't so easy to accomplish. Working with these genius'es gets you stressed often but you learn a lot. You grow inwards , you find your own shortcomings ,work on them and get better with time.
Then there are times when you have to deal with a bunch of moron's , where you're almost like a king. You work the way you want. You have the flexiblity to do things as you please. Nobody else has the slightest idea about what's going on but you. Its like a never ending vacation , you get all the respect and praise for your work , your life is just as great as you can imagine. I'm sure nobody would dislike being treated that way.
But the question is for how long can you handle these people. So no matter who i choose to work with after a while things get boring for me , i lose patience to deal with either of them. I just don't know where i'd like to be , both seem to work for a while but none of them would work in the long run.
How do you cope with different people at work ? Is finding a new job the only solution ?
