Weekend/Easter

It is late at night, and I just got off the phone with Mark. I wish I could cheer him up. Sorry it has been a few days since I last posted but life has been busy and hectic. Saturday night I got to go on a date with Mark it made my evening so great. We went to the Levee and saw the Disney movie "Holes" it was very enjoyable. Then we got dinner at Dewey's Pizza it was good. And we got to go to Barnes and Nobles and just browse...I love book stores Mark and I discussed how enjoyable it would be if we could live in a book store, with free coffee, etc.
Today was Easter Sunday, as I do every Easter I got all dressed up, went to church and had a great meal with my family. I love my moms cooking it just made me feel so content. You know that feeling when your tummy is so full you feel like you are going to burst, and you are so sleepy, just so relaxed. It is like one of the best feelings in the world.
The only negative aspect of Easter is all the pictures. I am just not a picture girl. My mom on the other hand is a picture manic..lol. She loves to take pictures. So me and my sister did the usual posing, etc. But I managed to live through it.
Well I need to get some sleep so I guess I will close here. Till I post again. Lata.

hm .. especially the thought of being able to read ALL THE BOOKS makes me quiver with joy :)

yep, good thought.

Today was Easter Sunday, as I do every Easter I got all dressed up, went to church and had a great meal with my family.

you are very religious in the christian way, aint you?
anyway, remembers me of going to church every big christian event, when i was a child. later on, i only went at christmas and at eastern.

nowadays, i only go to church at christmas, and that only for enjoying different styles of:

a) enjoying the building it's hold in
b) enjoying - or not - the things and thoughts the male or female pater (my family are protestants) is saying - we also already went to catholic 'christ-metten' just to have (and see) the difference
c) for enjoying different styles of meditation - as i am NOT with any christian way of believing :) (currently, i'm tending to the zen bhuddistic view of life, but thats only a philosphical way) - i am a fanatical (*lol*) atheist :)

. I love my moms cooking it just made me feel so content. You know that feeling when your tummy is so full you feel like you are going to burst, and you are so sleepy, just so relaxed. It is like one of the best feelings in the world.

well, i'm really missing this.

FYI: lets say, i have to live with/in TWO families.
no. 1 is the family of my father, having married again, now having a step-sister, two half-sisters, and a female person i just address as my 'second mother' (Zweitmutter), because she isnt related to me in any case (neither familiar nor by the law!)
no. 2 is the family of my mother, including partly my sister, and me (this of course goes also for case no. 1!), and sometimes, my grandma too (the mother of my father).

my sister has the same troubles like i do have. so i didnt mention her twice.

this situation is called a 'patchwork family'.

well, my Easter Sunday went like this: going over to the site we would have a meal, brunch and such, coming directly from a party that took place in Ulm - as soon as I arrived at my grandma's site, she told me that we had to go all in a sudden, so i had no time to sleep (thank you very much, dear one who came up with the idea of traveling to that darn site! }:->).

when we finally arived there - which wasnt easy because all the trains which would have been driving to Petershausen, DIDNT - thats because the DB (Deutsche Bahn - the company which is still having the monopoly on trains, railway, etc. in Germany) though they could built up their new ICE connection going from Ingolstadt to Munich.

great idea! :->
dumb idiots - said it was mentioned in the newspapers (yeah, i surely would read newspapers about MUNICH, while living in GÖPPINGEN!!! :->) and there were hang-outs at the stations - BUT NOT at Munich Central Station, where it would have made sense!

anyway, when we finally arived, it was about 2 p.m., all were upset, and no fun at all...

.. i really would have appreciated when my so called family would have TOLD ME BEFORE, so i could have gone over to my mother's site (which is located in Dachau, connected to the same train line that also goes up to Petershausen, but somewhat before of that, more nearby Munich), put away my stuff, had have some nap/sleep, and then finally arose while knowing there wouldnt be ANY train going up to Petershausen, so no trouble, no stress, no-one being upset. :-/

anyway, it then became a somewhat nice afternoon, but not too nice, after i hadnt slept for more than 24 hours now, and was kind of unconcentrated and upset ('Zickig').

i think at my mother's site it would at least been somewhat without all this hurry, etc.

well, you see, you should really be glad to enjoy such an Easter Sunday you did have - some DONT :)

The only negative aspect of Easter is all the pictures. I am just not a picture girl. My mom on the other hand is a picture manic..lol. She loves to take pictures.

oh yeah, i really know that. un-natural posing all the way.
and if you try shooting a picture of her, she poses un-natural, too, aint she? :)

so i tend to do the shots by myself, always when someone's not prepared for it - snapshots, which any good photograph will tell you, are the best!

So me and my sister did the usual posing, etc. But I managed to live through it.

*g* .. yep. at least the victims normally TRY to not pose so cruel like 'the mother' does :D
