Rain is completely lovely in the land of the dry...Brings me to a good mood, and an interesting subject....
Alternate universes.... Do u believe?
An example: One blade of grass maybe the complete and huge universe of another..... When there universe dies, it may seem that it was due to cosmic changes, but in the another universe, it is ended when a man simply mowed his lawn.
Could this be true? Why wouldnt it be... It makes everything enterlock with one another, and everything already shares and un-altered bond between each and everything......
Did u ever wonder? Is this earth realy big? No. A speck of dust amosts space.... Just like everything
there really is no limit or end.
There is no true nothingness. Sure there is a color darker than black... (Its proven), and sure there is a black hole that leads to nothing ness, and is slowly swollowing our existense (if we dont kill our own existence ourselves before then)... But even nothing ness is something right?
Do u think about every thing?
Try to imagine the whole picture.
Good day

Just had to say...I understand..totally!
Like is the life of an atom...as long as the life of a galaxy?
I guess its understandable...if that galaxy is actually an atom to a larger giant.
Its like the movie, " The Incredibale Shrinking Man.." Where did he actually end up?

Used to play with this thought a lot, still like the idea, but never found any definitive proof for either answer. :-)

Of course there isnt any proof, but one needs to understand and accept that sometimes one can not know everything, and that life is filled with the un-explainable....
I dont completely believe in it myself, but i am filled with interesting theroys that float in the crevises of my mind..... just nice thoughts to think about...

People who spend too much time looking for Proof...can miss the Truth all together !
Do you need proof that the human mind is capable of greater things...than it has been able to do...so far...??
Did not think so...Yea...I know...you need Proof...! Geeesh..!

People who will believe any shit without proof can get a pretty weird view of the world... as we can see.
Do you need proof that the human mind is capable of greater things...than it has been able to do...so far...??
Sure it is, just ask L. Ron Hubbard!*

Yeh but u have to realize, that some things can never be proven
You know, that reminds me of this discussion. Where does "believing" end, and "knowing" start?
For my humble self to believe something, there should at least be credible indications that it actually may be true.
On the other hand, as right as you may be with what you're saying (see quote above), claiming something and then saying "some things can never be proven" does not automagically make these claims true. (Hence the giant flying dildo story: can you prove me wrong on this one, and if not, does this mean you're supposed to believe in giant flying dildos? I don't think so.)
The problem with UFOs is that every 'evidence' ever delivered so far has been turned out to be a fake. You can't blame people (<--that includes me :-) ) for being so sceptical here. And stating things like "only small minds need big proof" doesn't exactly help either. If alx's life depends on whether he can make us believe in UFOs, he should come up with the hard, non-faked evidence we're asking for, not imply that we're just too small-minded to accept The Truth™. Or alternatively, he could accept that some people have different opinions, and let the topic rest. There are other sites which may be better suited for extensive UFO discussions. (Not trying to move your subjects away from NAO, Jaz. ;-) )

Yeh but u have to realize, that some things can never be proven.... Im mean, its good not to just settle for the simple anwers, but to evaluate things..... But you can only go so far.....
The problem is trying to figure where proof lies. The argument over in Ideas about psychic powers has degraded (in part my fault) into an argument about what proof is; it's hard for me to explain to cyborg how it feels to have dreams come true in waking life, or to explain that I've met other people who describe the exact same feeling when they see such a dream happen in real life, because he really has no reason to believe me. I hope, though, that he isn't distrusting of me because I believe in prescient psychic abilities.
Sorry, must have had my sarcastic day. No offense meant.
But it fits pretty well for at least the Scientology thing. :-)
Yeah, well I'll admit that Christianity admits its fair share of sheep.
Scientology, however, is founded on the attraction of sheep. "If I separate from my non-Scientologist friends, pay exorbitant rates to have my 'reactive mind' cleaned, and accept that L. Ron Hubbard sank half the German Navy in WWII, as well as killing Hitler, stopping the Cold War, saving the world from nuclear annihilation, and getting my cat out of that tree on wednesday, then I'll never get the sniffles again!"

If there is a blackhole that is swallowing the universe, and the day that it does ... where would the universe go, it has to go somewhere.
To me the universe is like an airplane, the door and windows are blackholes, and if someone was to open the door everything would be sucked out. So to me a blackhole is just a door way to another plain of existance.
So if the universe was swallowed it would probably have to end up somewhere else. Our universes death could be the birth of a new one.
