If Microsoft ever did anything right its the fact that they have one of the best development environments around (in my opinion). I am just so excited by this that I cannot even sit still. I've been working with ASP.NET and having such a joy of a time. I cannot even believe how easy MS has made creating professional websites with ASP.NET.

I've used Perl and PHP to some extent but never had as much fun as I have had with C# and ASP.NET. I have finally found what I was looking for in a web development RAD IDE. I wanna concentrate on the content not coding and debugging and .NET has achieved that for me.

If anyone needs a recommendation for a Web development environment then I would gladly recommend .NET and Visual Studio. Its worth every penny. My church paid $600 which was $400 dollars off the $1000 price tag. I'd say they got one heck of a steal. Its given me a head start on creating the website they wanted. And I am so happy for it!!!

I can't wait until Mono is ready on Linux. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would hate .NET. Its a great platform and its made me a believer. I've ditched Java like a bad habit. I could never figure out J2EE anyway...

The calendar is too cool for me!! And the fact that the days are linked to a database of blog entries just makes me wanna smile all day long. w00h00!!! =)

Anyway I'm not the worlds best programmer, this crap doesn't come to me like it does some people.
