Finally!!!!!I finished tha work on the terraforming stuff...took me a lot of hours writing and about 20 hours laboratory work.

WOW, I don't understand German but the finished document is very nicely laid out. I prefer .pdf documents actually because they are mostly cross platform. But content notwithstanding I really admire the neatness of your document. Bravo!

If its any consulation I'd give you high marks in the class just for that!

Thx a lot, layout took me about 5-6 hours, because every mainchapter had his own word-document.

Started working on itn un August...so quite a lot of time I used for it.

And If you say the layout is good, that counts a lot... as far as I know layout is about half to 2/3 of the mark, so content is less important than how it looks (ok, that's somehow stupid, but I'm not the teacher, so yeah...)

Well it makes sense. Imagine you are the teacher and have to look at hundreds of papers. Which would you give more credit to? The ones that look really super like yours? Or ones that look like shit that may have really good information. Chances are the teacher got bored reading the shitty laid out ones and moved on to the pretty ones.

But thats just human nature. I think we wanna look at stuff that is more beautiful and will hold our attention better.

You choose the topic, you choose the teacher who helps you...so each teacher has 2-7 works....shouldn't be that much work. And the teacher who helps you has to give you a grade.The teacher who helped me with my work has 3 papers with about 30 Pages each to read.

so they don't really have to read a lot, My mom managed to read and correct mine in less than 3 hours. And the teachers even get extra money for it, so they should be happy to read as many works as possible :)

believe me, they aint get money for reading it - also they aint got more holidays than other people, and so on... my father's been teacher for nearly 20 years now, and my mother for about 10 - believe me: its a fucking hard job. and people even punish them to work more, as they dont want to be responsible for their own children ... no, thats NOT a nice job.

Yeah sure, as if you german ppl know what our swiss teachers get paid for or not.....

believe me, they are free to accept a work and they can say no if you ask them, but the get extra money for the time they spend helping you with this work...
it isn't just a regular school-essay or something, it's still is something you have to do to get the permission to do the matura-exam...so it's something special...and dude, I spoke with my teacher and he TOLD me that they get extra money for this one (and he's the principal...why should he lie?)
