I'd like to sing or write a heartfelt song with conviction and feeling. However GOD did not grace me with a singers voice. Oh how I wish he did. I'd sing notes that would make people cry. These notes would be sad and happy and full of meaning. And quite frankly it would be so magnificent and brilliant and an escape worthy of gold and diamonds and candlelight. I'd honor this with dedication and devotion which could be known only by my creator and I. Oh how the clouds dissolve in my mind. Their white puffy feeling and emotion drown a slow death in the wake of my existance.
Anyone can sing. No i'm not one of those uber-ultimstic people. I simply believe that with appropriate work, anyone can learn to sing. Choose a song. Find music from it. Work out the range required. Then go a tone lower and a tone higher and that is the range you need to perfect. Work out some exercises. Some scales and arpegios are good way to start.
Tell you what, choose a song and ill send you some appropriate exercises. :)

Look at me! I'm a prostitute robot from the future!
Hehe... Damn I should have stated that this was a rhetorical piece. It was posing thoughts but was not really looking for an answer. This was a piece of writing that I did in a spontaneous whim last night. I rather enjoyed it and that's why I posted it.
though my music makes you dance
and gives you spirit to take the chance
A litttle rock-n-roll, so you can sing
My music fills your heart,
and that's a very fine place to start
It's for you it's for me
it's for the whole wide symphonyyou'll have to guess who wrote that...
I give up. I'm terrible at trivia! Who wrote this? Bob Dylan???

I'll bet that just took 5 years off my life--but GODDAMM if it wasn't worth every second
