Anyone here play Descent 1,2, or 3?

God, i wish i could. My copy of descet II was oem for a specific, rather horrible gfx card :( and I've lost descent I. I'd play but don't have a copy.

those games are the greatest. And so is red faction (very closely knit with the descent series, just check out the descent network)

I have been playing through the single player campaigns, although I need to get D1X and D2X in order to have a playable game. Otherwise, I'd be nailed by a nasty bug that unfairly improves the accurracy of homing missles for framerates above 35.

So far, I've completed Descent on Ace difficulty. The difficult enemies would be the vulcan drillers, which are extremely accurate with a hitscan weapon. Attacks from other robots can be dodged, provided you both have the room and are not being swarmed with massive amounts of attacks.
