This morning I went in on a day out of school to take the AP Language test, my teacher told me this morning that it would be the hardest test I've ever taken in my life, harder than even the test to get into law school.
All I have to say is that, that is a load of poo. I went in and finnished all 54 of the multi-choice questions in under an hour and it took less than two to do all three essays. Granted, they were somewhat uninspired save for the argument. Can't go into details though because it's against College Board regulations and I could get my scores cancelled for it. Blah.
In other news, I don't understand why everyone else was stressed out about it. Some people didn't even finnish the multiple choice. Poor them.
Over the summer I've got to take yet another standardized test. :( This is called the THEA which one must pass to take certain college corses that are nessicary to degree plans. I took it last year and failed the math portion by one bloody point. However, I got almost a perfect score on the verbal and writing sections. So I only have to retake part of the test. Cheers!

You fail it.
I had the same one (English Language AP). Yeah, I wouldn't call it the hardest most trialing test of our lives. I had AP Spanish Language today and I don't even know spanish. That test was hard. I'll be lucky if I get a 2. Terrible. I have History US AP on Friday.... I suck in history. I can't remember the facts. I have some kind of anti-history gene. O-well, at least this gene won't effect my progress in the future. These tests are all meaningless when it comes to the big picture. Tests are such a horrible way to determine people's future.

As it turns out, you're free to discuss the essay questions, but not the multiple choice (copyright infringement; that's stopped me so often in the past, too.).
My first and third essays weren't hot stuff, but number two (I'm assuming it's the same everywhere, unlike a more well-funded program like the College Board with the SAT) was pretty nice; I wrote that one on globalization. What did you write yours on?

With the exclusion of myself and two or three people, it seems like everybody wrote on the war in iraq or homosexual marriages. I kinda hope for your sake, as well as for a lot of other people, that the graders don't hold that against you. It sounds to me like some of the people the AP board get to go over essays are infinitely more likely to be human (ie biased, easily frustrated, etc.)than normal.

Supposeldly, they are not supposed to hold it against you (did I mention supposedly?). Anyway, I have about 10 people in my class and I was the only one who didn't write on the war. I'm so sick of the war, why would I write about it? I wrote about the law that change snack foods in vending machine from unhealthy to healthy. In the greather scheme, I wrote about the escalating weight of our nation's youth and the controversy of how to solve it.
