Yep. I baught an old 225. I feel sorry for myself, but it will serve it's purpose when I get it to work. I recently tore it apart, and dear god did that thing have too much armour! There is too much interdependency among the hardware. After discovering these 'qaulities' in the mac, I can now say exactly why they are more expensive than PC's.

Because they are built like a tank.

Also when I tore it apart I think that I flugged something up, namely the sound card, the buttons do not work but the duh duhn at boot does (Weird).
That is just too much complication, and how do you upgrade the damn things? You can't get in 'em, I swear you can't. Oh well, just gotta get used to the architecture, which is why I bought it.
My question for mac and linux users (as in if you've used mac and linux and or linux on mac.): Should I pooch the install of mac 0S 8.1 for Gentoo linux or leave it there and use Mac OS. Dual booting is not an option on a 3Gb hd.

I should be ashamed of myself.
