Dry your eyes mate
I know it’s hard to take but her mind has been made up
There’s plenty more fish in the sea
Dry your eyes mate
I know you want to make her see how much this pain hurts
But you’ve got to walk away now
It’s over ~ The Streets, Dry Your Eyes
These people are soo cool.. but I soo hate this song. Go and read all the lyrics and you might understand. This is EXACTLY what I did to him... I don't know... I've listened to it a total of one and a half times... and I can't stand it. It's kind of freaky... but that could very well just be me.
Shit... I feel bad...
"I'm free to say whatever I, whatever I like if it's wrong or right, it's alright."
This is a great song i cant believe you would say that! I can relate to the lyrics so much it describes almost perfectly when my ex broke up with me. If you want to know what happened then just listen to this song and imagine my mate being the one telling me to dry my eyes later that night. I think alot of men can rlate to this song actually so whether it makes you feel bad or not you have to appreciate that this is one for the lads.
On a side note, i didnt know you had the streets in australia?

As an old, old bloke fixing a friend's kid's computer, I came across this song in his kazaa folder, listened to it one time, cried, and have listened to it twenty times in three days!
it's not a guy song and it's not a girl song - we've all met a stronger person who has dismissed us even though we wanted to spend time with them - we've all got a mate who knows just the right thing to say to help us get through it - we've all wanted to show someone how important they are to us (and we are to them!)
the way I see it, if you dumped some guy, then you didn't want to be with him! he's gotta live with it, but so have you! don't feel so bad; his mate's right - "there's plenty more fish in the sea"
