Well, I've reached crisis point. The day of reconing is coming fast and I have no idea what to do.
Due to the long, drawn out problems of recesion, high gas pricing and a myriad of other troubles like job loss, I am now in danger of losing my home.
I'm a thousand dollars short of what I need to pay the morgage company and they are telling me that there is nothing they can do to delay the inevitable foreclosure that is looming. One manager actually told me that I should not have bought a house if I didn't think I could pay for it. Can you believe that???
Apparently one of the unwritten prerequsits of having somewhere to live is that you have precognition to be able to predict that you will always have enough money to survive and that your chances will go bad at some point.
So I've begged and pleaded with them to give me a break, to let me have a chance to get by and I'll make it up to them, find a way to get back on track. They say that this is not their responsibility and that I just have to live with it.
I went to banks and shady lenders to see if I could secure a little cash to make it through and most denied me due to the fact that my credit is bad because of the problems I'm having with the mortgage company. Sorry about your luck.
The two who did say they could help wanted such outrageous percentages that what I would be paying them back would almost triple what they gave me. I can't do that. I just can't. I may have to but it feels to me to be one step shy of robbery.
So what do I do? How can I beat this? I'm going to lose my home for Christ's sake! It's like a nightmare that I can't wake up from.
Give me an F.
Give me a U.
Give me a C.
Give me a K.
Give me an E.
Give me and D.
What does it spell?

Well, a little news on the subject. I've managed to be able to dip into my 401k to get some cash but it's not coming for over a week so now I have to convince the mortgage company that I really am good for the money and if they can be patient, I can pay everything up and be back on course.
Keep your fingers crossed. And toes. And anything else you want. I need a serious ammont of luck to pull this one off.

Well, so far I still have a home. Barely but it's still there and it's still mine. I somehow managed to convince them that they didn't need to foreclose on the place and that I would work it out. *breathes sigh of relief*
Your crossed fingers helped so keep 'em crossed and thanks.

Getting into irreparable debt is something that can screw you for the rest of your life. I'd steer clear of those high-percentage loan sharks if I were you.
You might be better off giving up the house and getting an apartment or something until things pick up again. I don't know... Good luck though.
You know what admiral ackbar says about loan sharks....
It's a trap!
