Reading Rating Complaints

Hmmm... I was on another similar forum like this, and I love the fact that I have a section which belongs to me here. I love the journal section! :) That is certainly different and appealing to me about here.

i think thats its extremely personal, however, in my journal if i get a good rating people think what i feel is true, however if i get a bad rating it could be because they have gone through something similar which turned out fine for them and haas slipped their memory as it was years ago that they were my age.

good ratings are nice, but io think the point of NAO is to express yourself, ratings shouldnt matter that much.

I understand what you mean when you 'talk' about the personal aspects written in journals. i think that instead of turning off the rating system, why not request that your more personal journals not be rated. then it is up to the rest of the users on NAO to respect your wishes. plus, some want their journals to be rated to turning the system off completly would be unfair, too.

Ratings on your personal thoughts is degrading in my opinion.
