You know, Extraordinary, I keep seeing these posts of yours, and it gets me thinking. Aside from the usual that you might guess from my profile, the main one is: What is the point?

They're not particularly insightful, informative or entertaining. The majority are poorly written, and offer no substance whatsoever as backup.

Why are they your favourite? Is it for their message? The special effects? The relevance it has, maybe, to your own life? Maybe they represent good memories of time you had with friends.

But no....

....all they are are just letters on a page. One list. All skeleton. No flesh. They could mean anything. They could mean nothing. Theres no quantifying statement for them. Its as if I were to say that Capriotti valve gear was the greatest technical advance that never happened to steam engines. But you wouldnt know why, because i didnt say. I didnt back it up.

The vast majority of your posts have been like this. It makes me wonder, sometimes, why.

Bulk it out. Lovingly construct flesh around the bones of your premise, link everything together with arteries and veins, and then round off your argument with a wonderfully smooth statement that encapsulates your viewpoint like skin. Totally natural, and not at all forced.

Please do. Theres potential, but so far, thats all its been. A possibility, but no definitive event.

Sir Deimos, Beater of Ass.

Dude, that's like the best metaphor for writing I've ever seen!

I should be ashamed of myself.

Ok, I’ll explain.
So many people just keep asking me the same question over and over again, "What is your favorite movie?"
Only one... And I have lots of them! So I decided to make a list of my favorite ones. So here it is.
I chose "Garden State", maybe because it reminds me of an invisible life, about a small town, and people there who know each other. And if you do something brave or extreme, your like a star! It's a movie about hard life.
I still watch "South Park", and you know I love it; it’s such a funny thing to watch!
"Jackass", I loved the show, and when I found out that there is a movie, I totally loved it!
I was really bored last New Year, I was all alone, so I turned on my TV and the firs movie that I found was "Pretty in pink", so now I when I watch that movie I remember last New Year.
"Without a paddle"...hmmm I don’t have that much to say about this movie, it's just crazy, it's so funny!!!
I can’t not to love "Harry Potter", it reminds me about my best friend, because now she moved to another city, and I can’t see her any more. When we first met, we decided to go to a movie and the first movie we saw was "Harry Potter".
I love Freaky Friday; it's so...so...cool.
I had a sleepover with my girl friends and Cristina brought a movie, scary movie, "May". It was so much fun watching it! Because we were all freaked out and we were trying to stay com!
"Nothing to lose", my step dad loves it!

I love "The ring", because I was freaked out when the first time I saw it! I was so scared! And I was at home all alone! Damn I remember that feeling!
When I broke up with my boyfriend I went to the blockbuster and took "Dirty dancing". I really like it.
When I came from the vacations home, I brought "Butterfly effect" home, so all my family was watching it with me. That was just great!
When I watch "13 going on 30", I remember my self when 13 were.
And "Dumb and Dumber" is my mom’s favorite movie.
I love "Lyre, lyre". Jim Carrey is so funny!
When I first saw "Trouble child", my parents said that I was almost like that. So much trouble!
I love dark movie "Adams family", it's so not normal!
The first movie I saw with my boyfriend was "The Texas chainsaw massacre". It was creepy.
After I saw a movie "She gets what she wants", I wrote me song.
My teacher recommended a movie "What dreams may come", and after I watched it I was so confused about my life!
I really don’t like Olsen sisters, and I was at the shopping mal, and I saw the commercial about there new movie "New York minute" so I just went to see another boring movie and then make fun of it for the rest of the day. But then I kind a like it, I even bought a DVD!
"American pie" is so funny so as "American wedding".
"Spider man", when was a little baby, I didn’t play with dolls, I played with cars, and stuff like that. I loved the cartoon, and now I love the movie.
"Magic", is so not believable! All those tricks!
"Analyze this" and "Analyze that" is really cool, I enjoy watching it. There is no explanation to this movie. Sometime you just like a movie for no reason.
"Once upon a time in America", its pretty good movie, so as "Purgatory house" and "American Dreams".
"The village" was really creepy movie.
"Almost famous" was almost good, almost good...
"Girl next door", is crazy!!!!!!

Besides maybe 3 or 4 off your list. Most of the movies are in the mediocre range. Most of them are just sexual comedy or of a person being so incredibly stupid or a comic/book/novel turned movie. And in most cases, reading the book is always so much better.

IMHO, movies that inspire, or tug on a string of your heart are so much better and easier to relate to.

Or even a movie cleverly done.

And dont get me wrong, I love to watch romantic films. But 13 going on 30 was a total wast of my time, it wasnt funny in the slightest way and I stopped the movie half way through.

But hey, these are just my opinions.

Well, it's my list. And i never said that it's the best of the best for everyone. We all have our own faorite things. And most of this movies i liked only because of my memorize, not because they are good. I personly dont think that "13 going on 30" is the best movie.
And i really like reading books too.
Well if i would ever make a list of the best movies i ever saw in my life, none of these would probably go there.
