Want to know what I really hate?

Know-it-alls. People that think they know everything. Arrogant, yet they still think they are correct down to the stubborn wrenching unbearable end. I knew a guy like this once. He even attended this very forum.

What a jerk he was, you know? He went against the opinions of everyone on the forum, and thought he could change everyone's opinion in an egotistical way. You see, he didn't even realize that everybody is entitled to their own opinions.

He left as a result. I sure don't miss that guy.

Oh, the guy's name? Hawkeye I think it was. Man what a jerk he was. ;)

Hey guys. I humbly return. Please accept my sincerest apologies.

You know what he has just told me in a message? "I missed Netalive".

Yes, because we both missed this place. We missed being able to exchange opinions as we used to do here. And it is true that he has had his problems here, but surely he has learned the lesson this time.

I personally missed this place too... many of the people who have been here forever, like null, orchid and jaz...

I managed to stay in touch with some of them (btw. that chocolate was really good, null ;) ) but I lost touch with others. And now that I am back, we are back, I want to make up for all the time that I haven't been here.

I have noticed some changes, but I am glad to see that Nao has remained the same as far as posts, people and general idea.

Yes, definitely too much! I am here to stay though, and there is nothing or no one who could make me change my mind. Aside from Neil, you're the first good friends I've ever had, and even thought we've had our bad times and fights and whatnot, I know that I made a mistake in leaving like that.

People make mistakes all the time; the important thing is realize it, no? And if possible, make up for it. This is what I am decided to do now in fact.

Definitly. But I'm very happy some of the nearly long-forgotten, former NAOis seem to come back these days. And I still wont give up my hope that fallenangel will some day return. Anyway - I'm glad that both of you, andromacha and Hawkeye, have come back Alive, back to NetAlive.Org ;)

Empirical evidence begins to suggest that this might happen.

I agree with you on this. I also who had a friend that thought and still think they know everything there is to know about the world and everyone else. I simply suggested that he crucify his ego and realize that he isn't that grand. And to this day, I still don't know if I ever got through that thick skull of his.

A lack of preparation on your part, does not constitute an emergency on mine.

Hey I remember those two. Glad to see you back. So what have you been doing since your long absence?

I'm sorry to ask, because of my own ignorance, but I am relatively new at NAO. It's been a few months. But I guess it is better to be a fool for a day than an ignorant fool for the rest of my time here. But what connection is there between the old NAOites? Who is Hawkeye, and Andromacha, and Null, and Jaz... And each other's connection? I'm sorry to ask, but I genuinely want to know.

By the way... I also left for a short time. But in returning, I've found that it has truly become a home and safe haven for my most precious emotions. I hope that whatever your stay has and will be will prove to be a good decision and memory for the rest of your lives.

The famous connections

The connections that are between us are the following:

- Hawkeye is my fiancè
- null, Orchid, Jaz, Oxygenius and Ettena are the first guys that we got to know when we first arrived here.
- There has been a major fight something like 2 years ago involving Hawkeye and other people, and we left.
- I have kept in touch with null and Orchid for some time.
- We finally got back in a very apologetic way. Hawkeye more than me actually :P since I wasn't actually involved in the fight.

That's almost true, except for the part where she wasn't involved. :P

She managed to get threatened in a pretty nasty way by a certain member a couple times (which only made the situation worse for both of us). I won't go into details. All is forgiven on this end.

How have you been doing Majic?! Long time no see! I've been finishing up my master's degree at Clemson University here, while Elena has been finishing up her degree in Italy at the same time.

Auburn University with a lake? :-P

It's cool that you were willing to come back; I think when I came around to Netalive that you had already left if you weren't on the way out, but it's interesting to know that so many of the old NAOis are still around (w0lf, null, Jaz, and I do believe I saw MrCrash logged in the other day ^_^).

Edit: I'm using the appearance of the tiramisu recipe by MrCrash as evidence of his reported appearance.

Actually I did leave for some time, too. I also changed my pseudonym as you can see.
