Not quite true. Actually I'm from Liechtenstein.
Now you really want to be picky eh? I know that to you it makes a difference indeed... but really... you speak the same strange language (which by the way is not German, it is... huh Schweize Sprache? anyway something strange and totally unrelated to German, as your people tended not to have the zweite Lautverschiebung... Why am I bringing all of this up? Do you know why? I don't :P)

Yeah, I'm picky ;)
Umm... what's strange about it? It's just a dialect, it's not really accepted as an own language, and it's called Schweizerdeutsch or Schweizer Dialekt, or, of course Liechtensteiner Dialekt. Anyway, it's kinda complicated because you can split it up into thousands of dialect. You can split up Schweizerdeutsch into Berndeutsch (people from Berne), Baslerdeutsch or Zürcherdeutsch and so on because people living in Zürich speak different than people from Basel or Berne. Sometimes, they don't even understand each other.
You can even split up Liechtensteiner Dialekt in Unterländer or Oberländer Dialekt or in Berger Dialekt and so on. People living in Triesenberg (speaking Berger Dialekt) speak a very strange dialect noone else speaks, because they descend from the Walser people. Anyway, sometimes people from Switzerland don't understand what people from Liechtenstein say and vice versa, so what I wanted to say is: We don't speak the same language, not even in our countries, so... ;) Do you see what I mean?
An example: Liechtenstein people don't have a word for leg, they call it foot. Swiss people tend to look strangely if I say I have to shave my feet. ;)
Another example: People from Berne say something that sounds like "I have to go ironing today" when they mean "I have to go working today", so there are some misunderstandings.
And of course there are all the strange old words, today noone really knows but some like to use ;)
Languages are a cool thing though and create a lot of funny situations that help bringing people together :)

Actually, my post was mostly in jest, I thought the melodramatic ending was a hint to that...... Next time I will try to be a little more blatant with my jokes.
