Happy Birthday to me...

?% | 1

February 3rd was my birthday... I'm 30, w00... Happy Birthday to me... =)

On another note February is also the month of the year I am at my lowest point (mentally/emotionally). Next month I'm getting out of the Army, I should be happy but the job searching is stressful! The constant thinking that I'm not good enough to make the kind of money I need to survive on...

I decided not to reenlist in the US Army. It's time for me to move on, I'm tired if you know what I mean. Mentally and physically I'm burnt out. I've got over 8 years in and I just can concentrate on it anymore. I lost 12 pounds since I joined the 82nd Airborne Division in October from all the physical training. I'm in a weird state of mind these days, everything is a damn blur. Life is just too fast. I need to slow down and enjoy myself.

On an up note, Melinda (my wife) is pregnant with our second child! GOOD STUFF!!!

Happy Birthday and congratulations and wow sit back take it easy for a minute breath.

Don’t let all of this get on top of you; just in front of you is the best times of you’re life, thirty is a great age it’s when employers recognize you as a legitimate adult. You have been stable in a very honorable job for the past eight years a wife and young family I don’t think finding a good job will be a problem. I hope you aren’t offended my the thought of a regular job, but I think if you take your open source knowledge and Jaz’ complete package idea to a company who is ready to expand and can save them tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on the size of expansion; you have a big sale and a full time job. Open source provides solutions for practically everything; except one thing, and that is where you come in the people to implement it. You can show them how they will save a lot of money on equipment, and licensing and then tell them you will be the engine that will make it all run. Just a thought hope I didn’t offend anyone Happy Birthday Congratulations and Good Luck

I need to slow down, however since I have bills to pay it doesn't look like that will happen.
