Ashlee Simpson can't sing, but still i like her as a person, they way she acts.
Her full name is Ahlee Simpson, she is the one who spelled her name wrong when she was a little kid.

She was born October 3rd, 1984 in Dallas, Texas, USA. Her birth name is Ashlee Nicole Simpson. Her height is 5' 7. She went to a School of American Ballet when she was young. Her real profession is actress, but she is still trying to be a singer. Ashlee started dancing at the age of 4 and, by the time she was 11,she enjoyed the status of being the youngest person ever admitted to the prestigious School of American Ballet. By 14, Simpson was dancing professionally on the road with her older sister, Jessica Simpson.

Also she is going to be in a new movie called "wannabe", 2005.

She has a CD, called "Autobiography".

In the interview not a long time ago about Saturday night live, when she couldnt sing:

Couric: Explain what that is. Vocal guide tracks or backing tracks. Does that mean you are lip syncing?

Simpson: No, I was singing with the track. Like on the first (song). I was singing with the track but my voice was not strong enough to hold up the song alone. My dad was like, 'honey, you have to do it.' He put my vocal doctor on the phone with me. 'You have to. (Singing) will ruin your vocal chords.'

Ashlee tries so very hard to be "different," enough so that it disturbs me. It seems to me that she dyed her hair raven-black to be the Anti-Britney, and she's made this concerted effort to be nouveau punk, but she doesn't have the intellectual or political credentials to pull it off. She's just another pop singer with the faux-attitude, faux-image, and faux-music.

Amen to that, man! And the record companies wonder why CD sales drop when all they offer is shitty plastic music. I long for the days when people who bought the music were called fans and not target groups, when good bands were supported for years and not marketed ad nauseum and then dropped, and when a singer's tits weren't the main factor of her success. Drown all those stupid bimbos and manufactured bands in a lake (make it slow and painful) and give me one musician who writes their own songs, can actually play an instrument or at least has an IQ over 50.

Oh, and it's not just America. A cold comfort, but at least now you know you're not alone.

I long for the days when voters were called voters, and not target audiences, when elected officials were supported by people, not companies. I long for a day when someone didn't abuse the idiot Christians who will vote for anyone who is prolife - regardless of their stances on anything else.

This page is a petition to stop Ashlee Simpson from "singing." It's funny to read.

Did you all see the reaction of the crowd when she sang at halftime during the Orange Bowl? over 60,000 people booing very loudly. It seems to me that her career should be over after the SNL gaffe and the general lack of talent, but the industry is really putting a lot of money into the effort to resurrect her career. She has her own show on MTV, and the industry just keeps trying to ram her down our throats.

If Ashlee can act, or dance, then she should pursue one of those careers and quit trying to be something she is not.
