Hi there, I just helped my mom moving from OS 9.2 to OS X 10.3.
First I had some prob with her printer, as Samsung has quite driver supports, but I found an old OS 10.2 driver that works.
next problem, her LaCie STUDIO-IF-HD Firewire Harddisc has no OS X drivers, either, not even old ones.
So I wanted to ask if anyone here has a clue about how I could mount it anyways?

Someone on another board said that he called LaCie and that OSX isn't supporting the device and that there wont' be any drivers....so that's for sure.
But I had luck today, because I couldn't get it to work, I installed OS9.2 as classic system on the OSX, still didn't workt. So I booted the OS9.2 directly from CD to at least copy the data to the usual Harddisc. Worked fine.
Booted OS X again. wtf? Firewire HD showed up normally on the desktop, full rw access.
It's nice, but weird. I mean I've booted 9.2 before and so on, but I had to double-click the HD in OS 9.2 to get it to work under OS X.
anyways, thx for your help :)
