What you listen to, really determines what kind of person you are. Im sorry to say, but half the music out there right now is pure shit, and if you like it your a loser. Get it out of my face for God's sakes. I really dont care how much money Britney Spears makes or where she drinks her coffee and that she gets private jets to pick up her favourite coffee...spoiled bitch. And im not interested in stupid jessica or her stupid sister, and really how can you be that stupid???? these people all have no talent, and they're spoiled silly stupid brats. Can people please just start supporting the artists out there that actually have talent? oh and dont get me started on rap, hip hop and r&b.....disgusting, with snoop and pharrell as exceptions...they are alright..haha..but still not that good. Oh and eminem is so washed up what a loser. Can someone please tell him nobody cares about his "lets shock people attitude anymore" been there! Too bad the world is full of losers that actually like that crap. I have no problem with people liking different types of music and having their own opinions, Im just so bloody sick of these popstars in my face. Stop watching people!!! I know sex sells but go buy a porno.

I absolutely agree with you on this. I also despise the fact that the people who listen to "pop," rap, and other forms of music push their opinions on others and state: "Well what sort of "crap" do you listen to." Some consider to be good, which in actuality anyone who knows how to rhyme could do it, granted I do give a very select few that had to climb the ladder to the top, credit but all most all of these "pop" stars prance around like their shit doesn't stink. I am simply fine with them appreciating an artist but they don't have any need to push around someone elses "accomplishments" when they have nothing to do with them.

A lack of preparation on your part, does not constitute an emergency on mine.

Did you know that there are more people who don’t like music than do like music. So what they do is make stuff in factories and pretend its called music, then all the people who don’t like music (but have been brainwashed in to thinking that they do) go out and buy the phoney factory music, and at the end of the week they count it all up and put the score in a thing called music chart, and sometimes the winners get things called music awards, and it ain’t even music in the first f*****g place !

I do think that Ashlee Simpson, doesn’t have any talent, she was singing live one time, it was bad! She has no talent in singing.
Eminem was a huge star couple of years ago, yah i remember that time, everybody loved him and stuff, his pictures were everywhere, but now its over for him, no more white rapper!
And he doesn’t get it, he keeps doing some stupid songs, like "Just lose it", common now, he was a king of all rappers and now he dresses up like a girl?! Some stars just don’t get it, that every single star has their "time", they make an album, they go on a ture and give some interviews, and stuff. And then its over, and some Caleb’s just keep doing things to make money, like Eminem dresses up like a girl.
Britney Spears, gee i remember when i was a little she was so freaking popular, but her time is over, get out of stage!
Now she makes some porno videos and marries some ugly guy!
She makes a video where she almost naked! Tries to get some attention, not gonna happened!
Some people just dont have what it takes to be star, some of them, or let me say almost all of them dont have talent, voice.
And some people who got this talent, are not popular, thats sad.
Only because Ashlee's and Jessica's father is a producer they are singing, yah without having him they would never ever be who they are now!

I didn't really have a problem with your post until this last line. I think it's a little much to judge a person based solely on whatever piece of music or artist they happen to be into. And how can you say that a "better person" has good taste in music? If someone is smart, funny, intelligent or kind, who cares if they listen to Britney?

Now... that said, people should know what they are listening to.

When you are hearing "the latest hit by Ashlee Simpson", you are not hearing anything of the sort. She didn't write the words (which are empty plaigeristic dribble), she didn't compose the music, she doesn't play an instrument. If you should happen to see her, or any other pop star live, you should be fully aware that all the above is true, and, those stage moves are choreographed, that wordrobe is pre-picked, that hairstyle is market researched, etc.

And that person on stage makes millions.

If a person can handle all that, and fork over $60 for a ticket without puking, by all means they should enjoy the show.

I swear if I hear one more thing about Justin Timberlake I'm going to find him and rip his damn vocal cords out. He sounds like a girl when he sings, ok a girl who is on something.

And Britney has always been garbage in my book. I can't stand her or Hillary Duff. These pop stars that are coming out now aren't talented then they do these shows on VH1. You know that show I am talking about. Driven. If I see another one about Lindsay Lohan I'm going to scream. I don't care that she was in movies and she had to "work" really hard. I don't care if she has an album out with a song about rumors.

I think with every type of music we need to go back to the way it was before and learn from the past. I mean you have bands like Aerosmith that have been around forever just about because they have the staying power to do so. Sorry I'm just a music junkie when it comes to some of the old stuff like Tom Petty and Pink Floyd, The Who, and stuff like that.
