As many of you surely don't know, I am very fond of the art of crafting; I like cross stitching, but one of my real passion is beadwork. I love anything that has to do with beads... I know, you might think it is a rather childish passion, but I like to keep my hands in movement, especially when I need to relax.

So what do I make with beads you wonder? Well basically anything... earrings, bracelets, rings, necklaces... I do have fun in doing such things, and I also enjoy wearing them... why not afterall? It takes me several hours to come out with a good result, and I am quite proud of my creations.

Here, I'll show you some pictures of the latest things I have done (which are still in my possession, because I like giving them out to my friends who always like them).

This is a quite interesting bracelet: made with lilac and purple beads (you probably can't tell that from the picture). It was accompanied by a necklace, which was broken by my aunt's cat, Martina :(

This is the very latest thing I have created; I worked something like 4 or 5 hours on it, and I finally got this bracelet. It has beads all intertwined with each other, and it has three different color: pink, lilac and transparent.

And finally, these are probably one of the best things I have ever made... two crocodiles! In case you wonder, yes, I do have the courage of wearing these earrings from time to time :P

So, I know that the quality of the pictures is not so great, but what do you think about them?

I think they're beautiful. I wished I myself had the patience to create things like that. Often I am really ambitious about something and then buy the stuff I need to do for (e.g. knit ware, mosaics, crochet or beads), start it but after a day in which I hadn't time to do it, I leave it besides till years.

Well in case you want me to make anything to you, I will. Right now I am also creating stuff with metal wire. At the moment I am wearing two green butterfly earrings in fact, which look pretty nice (even though it was my first attempt).

If you ask me something (which is sort of reasonable to make) I will make it, and send it with the books I promised to null :) Just let me know within a few days, since I am going to send the package in not very long.

Oh and if you guys want also something else from Italy, let me know before I send the package, alright?

Well, what's Italy famous for?
I know you cannot send us Pizza, Spaghetti or gelato, I'm afraid. But at least that's a good reason to come then ;)

Hmm... How about Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana or Prada? :)

Well of course I have been to Milano :) It is at about 150 Km from Torino, and my dad used to work there until 6 or 7 years ago. In case you are making me this question because you're looking for someone who can help you going shopping there... I do know where Via Montenapoleone is, where Prada, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana stores are :) There is also an Hilfiger store if I remember well :)

The good part about Milan is that there is a very common subway (aka underground) that leads you everywhere you need to go quite easily, and it's not expensive at all. Surely it is much better than going around the city with car.

In any case, you don't worry about me having to work for you ;) I have so many beads that I am planning to do some stuff anyway, and considering that there are already too many people who sell that kind of things I am trying to give them away to my friends or something. :) So even in the near future, if you change your mind, just let me know.
