Putting on weight?

60% | 2

I wonder if any of you guys have some advice on this one?
Basically i have been really trying to put on weight for the last couple of months, i have been eating reguarly and avoiding fast food and fizzy drinks e.t.c

There seems to be much more info for people trying to lose weight but not for gaining it. So if anyones had a similair experiance any help would be much appreciated, i eat and eat and eat, just as much as friends of mine who are often joking with me about where it all goes, basically its a confidence thing, like some girls with make-up i guess.

i dont feel to confident with the way that i look, and know that is down to my weight and if i was heavier i would feel more comfortable with myself, i have a mate who was skinnier than me and now looks like a tank due to steroids but i really dont want to go down that path and since christmas have been trying to gain weight and ive been pushing weights and exercising which has made me stronger, but thats it really. So if anyones got any tips or advice...

Cheers
DF

Try working out. Muscle weighs more than fat and it looks considearbly better

quote from http://www.musclegaintips.com/

Because gaining weight for hardgainers is extremely difficult, the only way we will get bigger is to shock our bodies into growth. We do this by:

Eating a lot of calories
Training with heavy weights
The first shock is by eating more calories than your body is used to. This is the most important factor in gaining mass. When you overload your system with plenty of protein and fats, your body has no other choice but to gain weight. The goal is to eat just enough calories to allow your body to build more muscle, but not so many calories that you gain a large amount of body fat.

The second way we must shock our body is with weight training. Weight training is the fastest way to get your body to build more muscle. Dieting and weight training both work together. The weight training overloads the muscles and stimulates growth, while the food you eat provides the necessary building blocks to repair and build new muscle tissue.

If you don't eat correctly while weight training, you WILL lose muscle tissue.

I didnt look to far into it, but just looked what you asked. If that site doesent have what you want just google "how to gain
weight"
hope this helps :)

Re: Putting on weight?

Cheers man, really appreciate the help, im going to go check that site out you recommend, seems like they provide some good information :)

I have been working out recently, what i love about that is recognising my progression from being able to lift a weight i could not say two weeks ago, makes it worth while noticing your strength improve but I'd love to fill out more you know.

I eat shed loads of tuna which is 100% protein and a lot of carbs as well.

Thanks again
