Fun Problem

Hey guys, it's been a long time since I've been on, eh?

Alright, so heres the problem. I've got 2 HD's, a 60gb masterdrive (1 ntfs partitoin containing my Windows XP install), and a 300gb slavedrive (2 ntfs partitions, 1 for Longhorn build 5048 and 1 as a data partition).

Now, I did some registry hacking I'm not proud of in Longhorn, so it goes and screws up my mbr on the second disk

Well, I restore the MBR *BUT* now windows xp will not recognize anything on that disk (the second, 300gb version) although the recovery console booted off of the install CD and null's BartPE disk recognize and even mount said partitions (which are by the way D: and E:).

I tried uninstalling the disk and reinstalling it, etc. When I open disk managment it asks me to initialize then convert the disk, which I am most definitely not going to do as I need the data on my D: partition (it only happens to contain everything, my downloads, pictures, mp3's, project files, etc.). I also tried doing a fixmbr in the console on both Disk 1 and 2, apperantly all in vain.

It may be the longhorn bootloader (updated Windows NT loader essentially). I'll giv it a shot of destroying that, but other than that, any ideas?
