What I'm wondering here is how the brain operates, and the possibilities of having your brain operated to produce a desired answer without your knowledge or the possibilities of being influenced unknowingly or having thoughts brought to the forefront of your mind by clever prompts, what created these thoughts of mine was this test

This test totally read my mind predicting my answers, in this test questions are put to you, a series of sums or text to read E.T.C and after that another question is asked, and the answers I thought off, was the answers predicted, ive showed the test to a few of my friends, some it worked on completely, others it was a little bit out, however nobody came away without getting caught out at least once.

So why do you think this is?
I've pondered and the best I can come up with is, ( I wont use the real answers or questions incase you want to try for yourselves) lets say for example the question was 22 plus 22, then you were asked to name an animal, and they predicted lion, and on a scale of probability that was mostly the correct response with a lion being your choice, carrying on the theory, I once see a T.V documentary which stated most criminals did not hold a drivers license, maybe the sequence of green , amber to red creates happy thoughts or memories, this is pure speculation and properly most drove illegally, but surely if this is a silly trick on the internet, presumably somebody's studied this, maybe there's an advanced version of this subject, because you certainly know and have the knowledge of many different species of animals and are sure you picked the lion from your memory by using your imagination, when in fact your brain it seems was programmed to think of the lion in regards to a previous thought created by the question.

The best answer I can come up with is that our memory may store certain installations in the same place as another, similar to categorizing folders within a P.C so maybe the number two, or maybe 44, is stored in the same place as the lion, so when asked under pressure after answering 22 plus 22 we immediately think lion?
