Reading Music

I just stumbled over a hilarious song from 2001, Tribute from Tenacious D. The lyrics tell how the singer and his mate were ambushed by a daemon while travelling through the country. The daemon said they either had to play him the best song in the world or he would feast on their souls.

Not having much of a choice they started playing the first thing that came to their mind and it just happened to be the GREATEST SONG IN THE WORLD. Unfortunately they can no longer remember how the melody actually went, so the track is just a Tribute to the unsurpassable song they played that faithful night.

Oh boy, meta-music! Hilarious.

I heard that not too long on the radio. Not two weeks ago, I'd say. First and last time I'd heard it, but it was quite good. ;)

Haha!! I went through a stage where I was madly obsessed with Tenacious D. Jack Black is a brilliant man. He may be fat, and unattractive, and he probably smells bad, but he is a hillarious songwriter/actor.
