br4inbug * (1) wants to know...
Hello everybody,
I found this forum some minutes ago and thought that my request would be pretty right here.
Several years ago I played this DOS-game called "Victory" (hope I remember the right title).
It was a strategy-game I had found on one of those shareware-CD's - I don't know why I had bought this stuff ;).
Back to topic:
The gameplay was simple: build your base (it was medieval or some kind of Viking-style), breed some cows, get their milk and then train your soldiers.
Not much information, I know - but I hope someone can help me.
I had googled before I wrote this, but "victory" and "strategy" got a lot of hits, with none matching my game.
Thanks.
Hm, there is a series of games called Vikings which somewhat fits your description, but I've never heared of a title called Victory either. Do you know if it was ever sold in a box?

Thanks for the quick answer - I wasn't able to write this reply earlier, I'm sorry for that.
I know that "Lost Vikings" series in which you had to get those 3 Vikings through many levels - but that doesn't fit to my game ;)
Some days ago I talked to some friends of mine and - I don't know why - I remembered that game and asked them.
Well, one of them knew it:
It was "Victory", a strategy-game pubished as a part of "Gold Games", a compilation of games (at least here in Germany, I really don't know where else it was sold).
More about "Gold Games" here:

Now I know what to buy, I'll check ebay for a good offer.
Anyway - thanks a lot, Jaz, for that quick answer.

I know, that's why I was linking to "Vikings", a strategy game without the "Lost" prefix :). Anyway, it's great that you found your title.
