First open source script released

?% | 1

So my fellow NAOis are the first ones whom I'm announcing to that I've finally have finished work on my first open source script called 'MailMe'. It's a complete rewrite of a small script I've been using and improving for years now (starting around 2001/2002).

It's written in PHP, using some MySQL-tables, extensively uses CSS 2 + XHTML 1.0 and tries to avoid using JavaScript as much as possible. Oh, and of course its optimized for W3C-compliant browsers (which excludes Internet Exploiter) ;)

Have a look at it over here: http://mailmeos.fwwd.de

Congratulations Ginsterbusch! Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of your work... =)

Thanks a lot. BTW: I'm in search for a US-mirror site .. ;)

Next on, I'm going to start working (again) on a POP3-webmail client called Rustymail, which will be an adoption of Hastymail, which is by far one of the best IMAP webmail-clients I know (and I've seen a bunchload of 'em!), also adding some spices from MailMe, so it'll finally offer you features like being able to create folders and do some filter actions just like you would do with IMAP ;)

The cause is: I'm switching to another ISP / webhosting company, and they dont have their IMAP server running probably yet (main problem is: no proper integration into Confixx 3 Pro).
