Reading Internet

I have 40 MB worth of pictures from my trip Tokyo, and I need to send these photos to half a dozen friends. Some of them are photo Nazis and they want all 4.1 Megapixels, no resizing.

I tried sending a huge email knowing that it wouldn't work, and I found that most of their email accounts have a 3MB to 10 MB limit per message.

I'd post them on Yahoo! or photobucket or somewhere like that, but the single file upload sucks, and Yahoo resizes the photos down to at least 1024 x 768. And my crappy website from my ISP only has 15 MB of space.

Anyone have any ideas other than just mailing a CD-R to my friends?

Aww, you really don't have to. :-) But if you happen to encounter a place where they sell squid-on-a-stick, a picture of that to terrify my buddies would be lovely :-)

They had squid on a stick when I was in Seoul, South Korea... Or was the Octopus... Yeah they had that too, dunno if that came on a stick or not but they had these vendors on the side of the street with tanks filled with small hand sized Octopus =)

r_pendragon brought this delicacy to my attention. There's no way in hell I'd ever eat this, but of course I'm curious about it nonetheless.

I love squid. When it is well cooked though :P Ever had risotto al nero di seppia? It is a risotto made with the squid's ink. It is definitely very good. I also love calamari, especially the fried calamari rings... they are wonderful. And, for the joy of Hawkeye, I cannot forget to mention octopus. I love that too. Especially in salads.

Hawkeye and I tried sushi while I was in America last summer. It wasn't all bad, but even though I have no problems in eating these weird things (like octopus or squid), I have to say that I did feel like throwing up when I tried raw eel. It was this white thing that had a semi round shape, and it had like... well I don't really know how to describe its consistency. Just know that it was the worst thing I have ever tried. Not really for the taste (which I have, thank God, forgotten by now), but most of all because of its consistency.

The best piece of sushi I have ever tried though was raw salmon. That was definitely good in fact. I think Hawkeye liked that one too.
