Reading Music

I just discovered that Download.com has free trance downloads(and other generes). But trance music isn't really my thing.

I'm wondering if any of the more experienced trance lovers want to through in their two cents about the quality of the music at Download.com. And if you know any better place to get good trance music, let me know.

You can also stream the music if you don't want to download it.

Give me your email address. I have quite a few trance links but Jaz seems to think they are illegal to download from so I won't post them here again. Nothing about the links I have give any indication that they would be illegal to download from and they have been live for quite a long time (surely the RIAA would have found them by now, if they were indeed illegal), but at any rate. I have some nice links if you are interested. These are for live sets usually running around an hour in length. I love these and can't get enough of them.

I'll look at your link. You can find alot of good *free* trance by searching google for "trance live sets", "free trance", stuff like that.

I think I'll error on the side of legal free music. You can just send them to the email on my user account.

I know most of the music there sucks. I've been going by the ratings. Then I sample the songs and only take what I like.

The site that first got me on this kick was a very evil game called Flash Flash Revolution. That defintly killed a few precious hours of my life.

Download.com also has a lot of other electronica/dance genres. I knew Majic listened to this stuff. Does anyone else here?

It's good music for developing. Now if I could just find the motivation to code after a full day of work.

Yeah there is nothing wrong with the links I have. I'll email them to you. The websites are too prominent for them to be illegal and if they were the RIAA would have shut them down years ago.

Now that I think about it, I have downloaded trance from here before. I've found a few good tracks but most of it really sucks. You can find much better free trance from searching google.

DJ Nefi is pretty good, he's on download.com. Download "Music for the People". It's pretty much a trance anthem type song, very traditional dance, something that you'd expect to hear at a club.
