Pink glittery Pooh socks, with mint

?% | 1

Today I got a package Air Mail from Japan. It had plenty of gliter star stickers on the outside and said "Happy Christmas" on the outside at least twice.

I've seen a lot of weird things from Japan, warm toilet seats, dishwashers that come out of the ceiling, morning anchormen who scream and wear mismatching clothes, TV shows with words that glitter and pop across the screen like an old Batman cartoon, ramen noodles with raw eggs...

So inside the card, are with lots of colorful markers shouting "Merry Christmas" and "Be Good", a purikura photo, and one baby-sized pink sock with Whiny the Pooh on the side and glittery gripper pocks on the bottom. There is a safety pin keeping some crushed brown leaves from falling out of the sock.

So of course I open it and smell it. Smells like...mint, maybe? Could be worse, I guess.

Now what do I do with a pink glittery baby sock?

...I asked one of my other Japanese friends. There is no Japanese tradition she knows about that involves a baby sock full of mint.

Please contiune to vote AND post.
