One of the reasons why I think Bush is an idiot...

77% | 3

He contradicts himself and doesn't listen the words coming out of his mouth.

Lately Bush has been trying to give the United Arab Emirates some of our ports. The UAE is known for it being, basically, a base for terrorism. The #1 he is all about stopping.

And nothing else. Everyone, from both major parties, is suddenly realizing he is stupid.

He regularly preaches about how we need to stop relying on foreign oil and other things, and start depending on ourselves. Then he goes out and blindly tries to give the "enemy" direct access into our country.

Now I am not saying IN ANY WAY that any country in the Middle East/Arabian Area is directly labeled as our enemy. I respect them. They are beautiful, cultured people. But our president's plan is to bomb the helloutta them, so they are our supposed "enemy".

The UAE is known for it being, basically, a base for terrorism.

What exactly are you basing this on? The support they have given us throughout the war on terror (i.e. letting us use their country for military stations, etc.), their western approach to life (i.e. theme parks) or something about them that I am missing?

Lately Bush has been trying to give the United Arab Emirates some of our ports.

Where did you get this information? Some anti-bush leftist website? The fact of the matter is that the Dubai company purchased a UK company which was already running the ports, and therefor acquired them along with the rest of the company's interests. The only involvement Bush had in this was not trying to stop the deal in any way.

Do you know what I love about you guys (read: Democrats/Liberals/Bush-Haters/Sheehanites) it is the fact that you are all about the international community and our involvement and approval from it. However, if Bush should try to do something to show respect for an Arab ally, you jump all him and claim he is supporting a terrorist state. That is nothing more than veiled racism toward the Middle East. At least when the Republicans/Conservatives do it, they are consistent about it, and against it all the time, not just when it suits their agenda.

Well dude, it's actually kind of old news by now, but if you hadn't heard about, where the f--k have you been? Underneath a rock?

And please don't dare to call me a rascist. I am strictly non-discriminative when it comes to specifics, but I hate certain people all I want.

Now, since I am obviously your pretty little comic relief, I will inform you that I don't even know what all that crappy "leftism" or "rightism" crap is. What I know is what my beliefs are, but I do keep my mind open to the other topic, always.

Here's a link on the whole topic:

Oh, I am well aware of the Dubai Ports controversy, and the Wikipedia article did not tell me anything new at all. I still think that the wrong decision has been made in the case, and that Chuck Schumer (along with his buddies, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, and John Kerry) should quit trying to blame the president for any and all potential problems that come up. I followed this story from the beginning. The part I find the most humorous is that until this story broke no one even knew or cared which corporation or country was running our ports. But, what can I say, that's the american people. If it isn't a national controversy they can catch on the evening news, it isn't worth caring about. That is the kind of apathetic attitude that makes me wonder why people suddenly think they are politicos who have all the right answers for this country whenever they disagree with whoever is in power.

And please don't dare to call me a rascist

And what exasctly should I call you when you are claiming an organization should not be able to do something due to their Geographical and Ethnic Identity?

I don't see you as any sort of comic relief. There was nothing comical in your post to me. As for not knowing what leftism and rightism is, that simply reinforces my point that you are not in any way an informed citizen, and the only one to blame for that is yourself.
