I confess I wasn't sure where to post this. At first I thought it should go under my journal, because it is mainly about me, but then I would like to receive some kind of feedback from you, so I definitely didn't want the thing to be too private.
So, since I didn't really know which forum this could belong to, I decided to post it here.

I would really appreciate your personal opinion, as long as it is honest and sincere. I am not looking forward to receiving "white lies", because I still have time to change my look, if you vote me down :P And I'd rather do that instead of going to my graduation ceremony looking like a dumb. And since I got different opinions from my parents, I thought I'd go ahead and ask you what you think of it.

So here you are.

Consider that this picture was taken with my cell phone, so it is not really the best quality. However, do you think my hair looks fine? Or maybe you think it makes me fat (more than what I really am :P)? Most of all, do you think that this looks good for a formal ceremony? I am asking girls and guys indistictely, since any opinion matters to me. Any feedback will be appreciated.

It was there until yesterday, I don't know what is wrong with the image. It was supported by aol and it was public. I don't really have time to fix it now, because I am about to go to work. I will try to work on it later tonight, so to fix it.

Since I can't really fix this (and I don't know why), I will post here the pictures I take today as soon as I have them. Maybe I will ask null if he can store them somewhere for me, so that I can link to them and be sure that they will work.

Anyway, it's the d-day today. Boy I am nervous! If I look good... then you'll judge. You'll see my whole new outfit too :) Just be patient, I know you're dying of curiosity. *cough sarcasm cough*

So, it was done in the end. I got 4 out of 6 points for my thesis, and I am quite satisfied. To be honest, I am damn tired now, but I guess it is normal afterall. I ended up with 103/110 and everybody praised my work. The counter relator said that it seems interesting, and my relator said "it is, interesting indeed!". I was quite proud, because I know that he felt proud of having followed me with this work.

I have some pictures, and I will post them here for you to see, and maybe tease (I am in cap and gown) me. But I do need null's help. Since I have already noticed that I don't seem to be able to point to my yahoo folder or whatnot, I would ask him if he could store them on nao server or something, so that I can link from there.

If you can do this, just let me know, and I will send you an e-mail right away. Thanks :)

What was your thesis all about? So, now that you're finished with university, do you already got a job or do you take a break?

My thesis was about the structures of orality used by the Ghanaian writer Ayi Kwei Armah. It was tough to write it, I can tell you that, but in the end my professor said that he was very satisfied with my work, and so was my counter relator. So I am quite happy too.

You can tell how relieved I am by this picture here in fact :P

I do have some more pictures where I am discussing and others with my friends, but I can't post them right now... the photographer still has them (yes there was also a pro photographer.. how cool is that?!). As soon as I get them I will scan them (assuming he doesn't give me the files also), and will find a way (through Bernie again :P) to post them here.

Also, I have been working for a month with the yellow pages already, and I am still going to complete my education in these 2 more years, with a specialistic degree and... *ugh* another thesis, which will be twice as thicker as the first one. First one was 51 pages, so I expect the second to be around 100 if not more. We'll see.

I think she looks very cute in those robes. The green book she's holding in her arms is her thesis if you guys didn't know. I have a copy here at my house in america. In it, she acknowledges all friends and family. So you guys are all in it, technically. ;)

Incidentally, wish her happy birthday. Her birthday was on the 23rd.
