I need help! I deleted e-mails from my Yahoo account and need to retrieve them. they are not in my recycle bin, etc. Is there a way to recover them from my computer.

I called Yahoo and they told me that they are gone forever. I can't believe that they are gone forever. There has to be a way to recover them. I am in a serious time crunch as these were work related e-mails. If anyone can help, I would be so greatly appreciated.

I use Windows XP
